Designed to compliment the Alphabet Board and Number Board these provide a wonderful way of learning shapes through play.<\/p>\n
Our maths shapes are made from solid European Oak. It starts a rough wood, is then planed smooth, then sanded even smoother before being carved. Each shape is then sanded again before being finished with a toy safe finishing oil. The shapes are fully compliant with regulations and are UKCA (CE) Certified.<\/p>\n
Each maths shape is approx 7cm high and they are between 5cm and 14cm wide.<\/p>\n
They are available in two sets.<\/p>\n
The basic set includes the six shapes that are the first to be taught in KS1. These include a Circle, Square, Rectangle, Equilateral Triangle, Pentagon and Hexagon.<\/p>\n
The full set adds a Rhombus, Heart, Kite, Cross, Right Angle Triangle, Trapezium, Star, and Oval.<\/p>\n
Wood is a natural product and every piece is different and has it\u2019s own character. These are individually made so no two items are identical.
