About Me

Hi, thanks for visiting my website. My name is Sandy Matheson and my ‘day job’ is a Church of England vicar in Sarisbury Green in Hampshire. Although I did some woodwork as a youngster at school I haven’t done much over the years. That is until I needed some props for a church activity in early 2018 and found out how expensive they were to buy and thought I could make them myself. So I bought a cheap scroll saw and did just that. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a better saw and started to make things to sell at our church Christmas Fair. That went so well that this has now become a hobby that helps raise funds for the church and also provide us with a little extra income.

You can view me working on my Hegner Scroll Saw here:

Since that start I’ve invested in more woodworking equipment including a thicknesses which enables me to purchase sawn timber which is less expensive or to use recycled timber.

I’ve also purchased a small CNC machine that enables me to produce plaques and the stacking wooden figure toys.
